Facility Maintenance Supervisor

Facility Maintenance Supervisor – $28.53 to $37.88/hr                             

Due to an upcoming retirement, the Water/Wastewater Department is seeking applicants for the Facility Maintenance Supervisor position. The City of Seward will be constructing a new $50+ million wastewater treatment facility with the expectation of completion by the end of 2028. This employee will serve as the assistant director of the Water/Wastewater Department and will supervise employees within the Utility Maintenance Worker and Wastewater Treatment-Sanitary System Operator classifications. Additionally, the employee will performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled work in the service, repair, and maintenance of the water production, distribution, treatment, and sanitary collection systems as well as operating the water treatment and wastewater treatment plants. Physical requirements. Valid driver’s license required.
